New Designs Available!

We're sad that summer is over, but we're excited to have five new designs available for sale! Quantity is limited, so if you see one you love, snag it while you can. You can also find our designs locally at Half Moon Outfitters, Salty Girls, Odyssey Board Shop and 2 Cumberland Street. Our SC State Surf Trucker Hats and other hat designs will be available soon.

The Holy City

The Holy City is in the news again for being the friendliest place around. We're not surprised. We love it here and our designs are inspired by our love for the lowcountry lifestyle. The Post and Courier's @davidquick says it might have something to do with our awesome weather. See the following link to his article in today's paper. http://www.postandcourier.com/article/20140805/PC1610/140809668/1356/dont-discount-weather-for-friendly-reputation

Speaking of feeling the love for our home town, we snapped this photo a few days ago after the conclusion of the Carolina Yacht Club regatta. Nothing says Charleston like boats and steeples, right?

The South Carolina Aquarium is kicking off Shark Week this Friday. Be on the lookout for our limited edition Mary Lee T coming to stores soon. We'll keep you posted on that so you can snatch one up before they're all gone. If you don't know Mary Lee, check out the Osearch site about the heaviest and most interesting frequent visitor to our area over the past two years. Word is that she may have dropped off some Great White Pups around Hilton Head or Beaufort. Oh my!

Movie Night at Odyssey Board Shop this Friday, June 20

We love our local surf shops and the girls and guys that make it so fun to be part of the local surf community. So we're excited that Odyssey Board Shop in the Commons off Coleman Blvd in Mt. Pleasant is having another summer outdoor movie night in their courtyard this Friday night, june 20, at 7:30. There will be lots of skateboarding going on in the street (sometimes they actually simulate a wave with a giant blue tarp-so cool) and the store will be open. The main event is the double feature showing of Russia, The Outpost and The Cradle of Storms. We'll be there and so will Coastal Craft Pizza, Cru and King of Pops. You might even win one of our limited edition Red Nun 2 first run Ts. Hope to see you there. Come say Hi and challenge me to a game of corn hole.

The RN2 Bird's Blog

We are delighted to kick-off the launch of Red Nun 2 this weekend at the Folly Beach Wahine Classic at The Washout on Folly Beach, SC! Our first items have arrived in stock, and we're stoked about how they turned out! What better place to show them off than at "The Edge of America"! Eliza and Rona have put together an awesome RN2 Corn Hole game and they're really hoping you'll come by the Red Nun 2 tent (Red, of course) and challenge them to a game. We might have to dodge a few raindrops, but so far the surf forecast looks promising. Best of luck to all the Wahines! May the dolphins be ever in your favor :)

From time to time we'd like to share some things we think are worth sharing. In honor of the launch of RN2, today we're sharing 2!

Check out this beautiful new online magazine called Salt and Water. There is a lot to love here! Find it at saltandwater.org

We love this fun Emily Hearn video filmed in downtown Charleston and along the intercoastal waterway. It makes us smile. Bet you'll see some familiar faces and places.
